Hello Baby!

I love making sweet little baby cards!  When Lawn Fawn's, "Hello Baby" set came out I had to have all those cute, playful little images.  Catching up on some technique video's I ran across Kristina Werner's video using a stencil technique with clear paste on ombre ink.  Her blog post on stencil embossing technique is here.

So here's what I ended up with.

Natural light on a cloudy day :(
Little ringlets made by twisting Lawn clippings twine over an "orange stick," manicure stick and  Claudine Hellmuth's Multi-Medium Matte.  After all, girl babies need ringlets!

After taping down the stencil the ink was applied and then the clear embossing paste.
You can see the shiny look of the clear embossing paste which I allowed to dry for a couple of hours before finishing the card.  Glossy Accents on the rattle mimic the embossed stenciled circles.

So excited for this family as they celebrate new life and their soon to be born, little one!
