Love the BIG and BOLD sentiments in this set by Winnie and Walter! A fun technique from Jenn Shurkus that we used at the LoftART Retreat this past weekend. Hard to believe that in just eleven hours and 3 planes you can be from one coast to the other and 48 hours later, fly back again! Whew! It was an amazing time with many incredible women in one place! Tonight my husband needed a thank you card and I put our distress watercolor background to work.
Every Saturday morning from September to the end of April my husband joins a group of men for BSF (Bible Study Fellowship). It's dedication and commitment and has been a blessing to our entire family. So a little "thanks" to those who lead.
It's that time of year where we are thanking teachers, friends, and others that bring a special joy to our lives and make life easier. This is a great set with so many words that it makes it easy to custom many greetings of thanks, and congratulations. It's available here: from Simon Says Stamp.
Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves, Salty Ocean and Broken China make up the combination for my background. Spritzed water and smushed my Tim Holtz watercolor paper around to get the effect I was happy with. Added some sequins and a little Stickles for the finish. Attached it to a 110 lb white card stock.
Super easy and fun technique that has a new look every time!
